Remoteless for Spotify (a Spotify Remote Control) App Reviews

when I first downloaded this app many months ago it was flawless and worked perfectly. every time theres an update its gotten worse. the response time is sometimes as long as 30 seconds. iPhone 5.

This app gets the job done. Plain and simple. Sure there may be a few things that they could benefit from adding but it certainly didnt stop me from giving it 5 stars.

You should be able to see the play queue within the app and change it around but you cant. That needs to be added

This app crashed every 30 secondary on both my iPhone and my iPad. Would probably be my favorite app if it just didnt crash.

I had some trouble trying to figure out how to get the application to connect but finally I did. The app is not entirely developed yet. For instance, the track covers are not displayed and you wouldnt be able to see how far into each song you are. The app has trouble recognizing when you would like to listen to a different playlist or radio station so it ends up being quite a pain. Over all, the app does work and will play your music.

The app takes ~30 seconds to respond and is buggy. Using playlists screws things up, if you switch between playlists it plays one song from the new playlist then goes back to the previous playlist.

There are no cover photos showing up. You can just go next or previous song, playlist and starred songs inaccessible without premium subscribtion.

Dont charge ppl fore something that doesnt work properly! Great product in theory!

Radio functionality doesnt work for me but I love being able to control Airfoil from the app.

I love the app it accomplishes everything I needed it to, except only 7 tracks from my starred load. Though this probably an issue with the helper.

Wow i never write reviews. But this sooo totally just what I needed. I only use Spotify and have a Bowers and Wilkins A7 and a Zepellin. You cant play Spotify on both and I use Airfoil to do just that. I have a 2 bedroom and the sound with both of these bad boys is sick. Now with this App i can play, F forward, rewind. And...... Control airfoil. It was easy as pie to install. When it was searching for helpers, I didnt get it at first but click help and you will be directed where to download the helper app to install on your. Seamless, professional and great visuals. Perfect job.

This use to work fine. Every iOS update or for some unknown reason factions start to stop working one by one. Fix the bug please. This app should keep up with the change spotify makes.All the left side from the spotify browser should be accessible and replicated on your app. This app used to be great with no problem that i didnt hesitate to buy the pro version. But after update after update it just went down the hill . Now the album art work does not show up, the radio bookmark does not sync with spottily,the playlist queue does not properly queue, and the timer bar does not show up at all.

Even when it does connect there is a long stall to change a song. Switching to another playlist pretty much never works. Its a joke that this is a paid app.

Not sure what warrants all these complaints but Ive had no issues with this app. I ran the helper dmg on a iMac 27 slim model, it installed easy and fast and even ran an update. Next I purchased the app and it found my iMac within seconds. I signed into my premium account and...Magic! Love it!

Works great with my iPhone 5 and MacBook Air! Very fast. Love the capability to remotely launch the app without it running on the computer. Totally worth $2.99

Worked great in the beginning but the app has not been updated to work with any of the new versions of spotify. Save your money unless they plan to update their app.

I gave up using this app and rated it 2 stars when Spotify rewrote their base code and Remoteless turned into a potato, but looks like the Remoteless crew fixed it and now all is well (with the exception of radio, which has never worked).

Does not function, not even close. Dont waste your time

Lags too much, and wont load some playlists. I am using Spotify desktop. Has promise, but isnt there yet. Remoteless for Pandora works well, was hoping the same for this version.

When it works, which is about 80%, it absolutely rocks! I use it almost daily throughout house (yeah AirPlay devices and Airfoil). Sometimes connection to computer (Mac) Spotify dies - I havent been able to correlate to any conditions on computer, helper app, wifi, or cockpit actions. Connection to Airfoil is rock solid.
