NEWS UPDATE, JUNE 2015:

Remoteless for Spotify is currently broken on Windows!

We at team Remoteless are really sad to inform you that the current public version of Spotify does not work well with Remoteless.

On OSX: there are problems with the coverart
On Windows: Remoteless can no longer detect the Spotify client, and Remoteless does not work at all.

We have been working hard to fix the issues, but currently we are awaiting an update from Spotify, which hopefully will make it possible for Remoteless to work again. With the current version we simply cant make it work. We really hope Spotify will fix the issues, and we really really hope they do it. Until then, Remoteless will not work as supposed. The day Spotify fixes the issues, we will hopefully release an update within days.

If you dont want to wait, you may ask Apple or Google for a refund. We know nothing about your accounts, so you need to go directly to Apple or Google if a refund is what you want.

We are truly sorry for this situation, and really really hope to make it up to you as soon some issues are sorted out.

Control Spotify from your couch or any room in the house by
turning your iPhone (iPad or iPod Touch) into a remote control for Spotify.

Great for parties, lazy days or if you have a media center tucked away in a closet.

Control any Mac (OS 10.6 or newer) or Windows PC on the same wifi as your iPhone.

Its NOT possible to remote control other iOS devices, and Remoteless will not play any audio.

Each computer needs to have a HELPER installed. The Remoteless HELPER can be downloaded from www.remoteless.no.

Fully functional as a remote for Spotify Free users, but now with tons of extra features for Spotify Premium users.

Some of the things you can do with Remoteless in addition to the normal stuff like start, stop, volume, next, shuffle etc. is:

* Store favorite artists, albums and tracks.
* Start a radio station from any playlist, artist, album, or track.
* Queue any track, or queue all tracks from a playlist or album.
* Search the Spotify library
* Share what you are listening to through twitter, facebook, sms or e-mail.

Spotify Premium users can also:

* Browse and start playlists (no longer fully working for Spotify free users).
* Edit playlists.
* Browse starred tracks.
* Star and unstar tracks.
* Show coverart in lists while browsing.

Remoteless only works if you have Spotify installed on a computer. Spotify can be downloaded from www.spotify.com and is only available in some regions.

Existing users are required to update their helpers to version 2.1.1 or newer.

Exactly what I was looking for and even better than I thought possible. Fantastic!

I highly recommend this app. Not only does it work perfectly with my MacBook Pro hooked up to a speaker system, but the customer service is exquisite. I emailed Anders asking for instructions to fast forward and they were prompt and even watched my help video I sent them from my iPhone. All you do is press on the album art to gain access to the extra controls. Buy Remoteless, not the other ones that dont have the same features or tech support.

It is a little bit too expensive but nice. It works good and it is useful to change song from the bed! There a little delay between the controller and the action on the computer.

Easy to use but really efficient. I like it. Good job Norway.

Ok its true, a full queue manager (like the iTunes remote app has) is still missing, but the app perfectly allows to control spotify AND airfoil, volumes, search, add to queue and any basic feature. It works!

Some bad moments

Overall, the app idea is great. The setup is easy and it works right away. The remote control works well but the BIG issue is that playlists are not supported properly. When you want to skip one of the titles of the playlist, the app doesnt play the following title of the of playlist but switches to the album the title comes from and plays the following title of the album... It would be a perfect app without this huge bug...

Does not connect well, and always the same problem that spotlight switches back to former playlist after playing a track... And always problems with remoteless helper software as well...

I have an iPad with iOS 8 and Windows 7. The application is connected to my computer, i can open Spotify from my iPad but it bugs and its loading and saying "Spotify not running". I cant do anything except wait for an update.

Impossible to run Spotify on the iPhone. Connect to my computer ok but impossible to run Spotify from my IPhone. Please apply a patch in the application

Remetless is no longer working. The app is conected to the macbook, ser music anda playlist but is not able to control then. I press play but nothing heppens.

Nur mit Premium Account voll nutzbar. Miserable Reaktionszeit.
