This app used to be fantastic but has deteriorated with each update. Very glitchy and will not even work at the moment with everything installed up to date. Needs major work for an app that costs money. Iphone 5

The app doesnt even open. $3 down the drain

This app was the cherry on top of my whole house Mac audio solution. Ive got my desktop Mac running Spotify w/ Airfoil syncing up two laptops running Airfoil Speakers through my theater system and outdoor system. Its an absolute treat to run all of this from my backyard patio table. I needed the Helper App on the desktop machine also, but my iPhone picked it up instantaneously. Bravo!

I was amazed at how well this app worked when I loaded it up and used it. It interfaced with airfoil ran spotify great. That is the first time you run it. Second time you try to use it it simply doesnt work. Reached out to support never heard back. Waste of money!

Worked fine and now it wont start claiming "Spotify is not running." It will start the program but claims that its off. They have some nerve charging for this. Poorly coded garbage.

I tried using it with a PC and it does nothing. I downloaded everything I needed to but when it tries to connect to my computer, theres just a never ending "connecting" screen.

This app used to do a great job, but now a lot of things no longer work. Spotify probably made changes that led to the problems. The app could possibly be updated to keep up, but without the updates the app is more frustrating than fun.

I have a super fast network. All 1gps routers etc. However there is a lot of lag when trying to do anything. I end up pressing something multiple times trying to get to work then all the commands end up processing and spotify goes crazy. Also it says you can queue songs from the app. There is even the option to turn the feature on in the app settings. However if this is possible to do then I sure cant figure it out. Some of the menus are also very unintuitive and confusing. Im a tech guy but will be trying to just browse my playlist to pick a song then all of the suddenly will have accidentally played a song. Product does have loads of potential though. This really should be advertised as a "beta" version though.

Has always worked for me. But needs to adapt to spotifys lates interface like my songs playlist.

I bought this specifically to play the genre radio stations but so far I cant figure that one out. Overall this app is extremely limited and buggy. I might as well just remote into my pc and control spotify that way. Reminds me of apps when they first came out.

This is probably the most frustrating app I have, but its also the one I use (or try to use) the most. Nice features and interface if it actually worked. Constant problems with loading playlists, crashing, connecting. Ill continue to use reluctantly until theres a better option- iPad 2 mini.

Whats up with this app?! Plays the wrong song. Wont play the song I want to play...randomly switches to other songs right in the middle of a song Im listening to. Totally lame lame lame! If Im paying for an app there should at least be SOME updates, this app has been broken for a while! So fix it! Or I guess Ill have to go back into the wilds of the App Store and demand a refund for this blah-ugh-app!!!!!!

At random times Ive lost the ability to control my Spotify music. The app installed onto my ipad as well as the PC without trouble and the connection was established between the two upon the apps first startup. Overall, it works but seems to require a bit of fiddling and patience, especially if music is already playing and you search for something else and subsequently try to play tracks from the search results. It might "update" your PC with that new request, or it might not. Checking connectivity of the ipad shows that the problem isnt a wifi issue. I expect the trouble lies within the PC app portion. Waiting a few minutes usually yields different results. Im glad the app wasnt priced higher given the performance in its current iteration.

Needs more radio controls - thumbs up/down.

Best I have seen but...Doesn’t replicate Spotify desktop functionality - ok for basic control. Needs an additional app on your desktop to allow it access to Spotify on you Mac. Not sure how much I like a 3P app doing this but it seems to be ok. Works easily enough but perhaps not entirely easy for the basic user. It is nice to have some control over airfoil so I can better control streams to different airport expresses. This app can possibly can spare you from buying that. but it would be nice if the app would support functions from the desktop version such as: 1. Browse ( you can search but that is not the same as browsing through genre’s). 2. Radio - Not intuitive in it is current form. Can’t play different genres or stations. “stations” are created from liked tracks. Still seeing how it works. 3. Play Queue - i’d like to see whats next Add these items so that you have a “mirror” of the desktop and it is easily a 5 star app.

Great value and the beset way to use AirPlay and Airfoil to really control music from Spotify all through your home. EQ on the individual Airfoil speakers would be amazing Faster loading of playlists and scrolling would help (might be a Spotify API issue) I encourage everyone to support this company and this app.

Controlling Spotify on my iMac from my iPhone is fantastic especially when it also controls Airfoil! Yes, it integrates Airfoil! Super app!

This app worked flawlessly until I upgraded my Spotify client to 1.0.2.6. While it recognizes that the server is there and loads my playlists, thats pretty much all it does. It doesnt show the current song playing and it doesnt let you play a song. The same behavior occurs with Spot Remote so I assume Spotify did something in their latest release to break these remote apps.

Current version does not work with latest Spotify update. List items are selectable but all buttons are inactive. Bought the app on two accounts and it worked for a week until Spotify updated their software. Currently useless on both accounts.
